Why Remote Control Toys?

First things first: what are the benefits of RC play? And what can it do for your child’s development? Playing with remote controls can do wonders for your little one in the playroom. Teaching kids how to use remote controls can help with hand-eye coordination and motor skill development. Little hands and brains have a lot to learn from RC animals and toys! Showing your kiddos how to use simple and intuitive controls can also help them understand the basics of how things work. It’s never too early for your little one to appreciate the behind-the-scenes of their favorite toys!

RC toys can also promote creativity and imagination and get your child enjoying the great outdoors. What better way to explore the garden than with an animal RC that fits right in with creepy crawlers? Taking a remote control reptile out into the wild, for example, can build a whole world of immersion play that is just waiting for your little one to dive in and get their hands in the mud! Now let’s get into those games…

How Fast Can You Go?

We’ve got the 101 on how to build a classic immersive RC experience. Competing racing RCs can quickly turn your living room into a racetrack that rivals NASCAR! What’s the top speed record you can hit? Set up timers around the house, or better yet, have two RCs race each other! Our 2-player Terra dinosaur bumper cars also make a great racing duo – they’re not just bumper rivals!

You can also make a race much trickier by setting up an obstacle course around the house. Can your RC snake navigate around shoes in the mudroom? Or maybe your creepy crawly RC tarantula can make it through a messy teenage sibling’s bedroom without falling over. Wherever the racetrack is, there’s fun to be had and new games to be played with RCs!

Your delivery is on the way....

Beep beep! Delivery! Did you know that your RC toys can double as transport trucks? Strap a little note or treat to the back of your RC toy and navigate it through the house to the recipient of your choice. Your kids are interrupting your activities anyways… what better way than with a sweet treat riding in on the back of a battle bumper car? Teach your little ones a secret message system where they can send notes back and forth through the house with the help of their trusty RC transporters!

Squeaky Clean

When your RCs have rooted through the garden, raced around the house, and played messenger pigeon to your heart’s delight, it’s time to clean. Teaching your kiddos how to care for their toys can help them understand how to make their things last longer, embrace sustainability, and help establish healthy cleaning practices early in life.

For a quick clean, you can wipe down your remote control toys with a disinfectant wipe or a moist towelette. For tricky dirty spots, try using a toothbrush to scrub away excess residue. If there is something caught in the wheels of your RC toy, you can turn it upside down and manually remove excess dirt or hair. There may be a cover plate to remove so you can properly clean the wheels. Just make sure you keep small parts away from little hands and mouths while you’re cleaning!
